- She's saying that she was lesbian her whole life.

- She was never okay with her appearance like her face and her body image. That's why she started starving herself to lose weight so she could look like one of these models.

- She got a lead role on Ally McBeal and felt intimidated by everyone on there since they were professionals. She had starved herself a lot to fit in her clothes for this show.

Week 2 Journal Writer

Dear Diary,
My husband left me for my brother's wife. So now we live together so we both won't be lonely. Oh and I'm sooo not comfortable with my weight. I think I have these huge hips and this big stomach. I secretly starve myself so I can fit into smaller clothing. I got a lead roll on the show Ally McBeal as a lawyer, so I had to lose weight for that because I have to wear revealing clothing in one episode and I have to wear this tight skirt. I hired a nutritionist because I wanted someone to help me lose weight and keep it off instead of this dangerous dieting I'm doing at the moment. I hope I can stop binging and purging.

1. pg 86
"I throw up"
Portia suffers with her weight all through the book and soon you realizes she needs a nutritionist to help her maintain a healthy diet. Portia reveals to her nutritionist that she makes herself throw up.

2. pg 90
"Im afraid to work out at all because im worried that muscle definition makes people look bigger."
Portia says this because she wants to be skinny and lean like a model... not muscular like a guy. She wants to be perfect and working out is not perfect in her eyes.

3. pg 100
"At age 12, starving and bingeing and purging had been the only way to reach my goal weight."
Portia was always around food and junk food during and after her photoshoots. To have people not suspect anything she would eat and then be forced to throw up after.

dear diary,

my birth name is Amanda Rogers but i go by Portia De Rossi, because it sounds original... not average. I have a problem with the way i look... i want to be someone who matters not just ana average girl. I eat only 3oo calories a day and throw up after almost every meal. I do this to mantain my weight so i can still look good for my tv show Ally Mcbeal. I think something is wrong with me and the way i think but its the only way to make me feel good about myself... help me :(

I beleive that the qoute means that the place with the most laws is where there are more crimes because when there are to many rules people get annoyed so they dont care and they break the rules when ever they want.

Is it real?

I beleive that there are alien life forms and that there have been occurences where people have really seen these alien spaceships or lifeforms. When i was younge i was with my family coming home from somewhere and we were driving next to a field and we could see this green stick coming down from the sky and we were staring it at it and as soon as it hit the ground it just dissapeared and we were freaking out trying to figure out what it was.
